Relaxing on my front porch after doing some yard work and a Hackberry Emperor butterfly stopped by to say "hey!" I took a couple of pics and waved him on his way, but wouldn't you know, about 5 minutes later he was back! Took a few more pics before he flew on to his next appointment.

2025/11/15 • Historic Tenner Bridge►
This bridge on E 166 St N, is on the path of Old US-169. Built in 1930, the bridge is now closed. There weren't any No Trespassing signs, so I walked the length of the bridge, taking pics and looking for obvious damage that would have warrented the closure. When I got to the far side, I was accosted by a man who claimed the bridge was on private property and told me I needed to leave. I didn't argue with him when I realized he was holding a gun. He escorted me the entire way back across the bridge and took pictures of me and my truck before I left.

◄ 2025/11/17 • Attempt to find my old drone
On 2022/07/02 I lost my first DJI Mini 2 drone in a freak event and was at the time unable to go look for it.
It was at a former railroad truss bridge, just south of the Arkansas River, and just north of US-64, between Leonard, OK and Haskell, OK. The bridge goes over a small creek that feeds into the Arkansas River. Today, after 3.25 years I attempted to find my old drone.
