A drive around Oologah Lake
3/7/2025 • 4 stops on the west side of the lake

   Stop 1

Sunrise @ Sunny Side Boat Ramp

→ West side of the lake.
→ The wind was blowing too hard to fly my drone.
→ 1st video is a timelapse of 30 minutes condensed into 2 minutes.

→ 2nd video is a panorama of the lake from the boat ramp area.

Goose Island

   Stop 2

Goose Island

→ West side of the lake.
→ The wind was blowing too hard to fly my drone.
→ The way the road and powerlines run straight into the lake and then on to the island leads me to believe that when the lake is low enough, you could drive across to the island.  Several roads are visible when looking at the satellite view on GM.

   Stop 3

Double Creek Cove

→ West side of the lake, near the north end.
→ The wind was blowing, but it seemed to have settled some.  Flew the drone, but got all kinds of wind warnings.  It wouldn't even try to shoot any panoramas.

   Stop 4

N 4180 Rd @ US-60

→ North side of the lake.
→ The wind was blowing, but it seemed to have settled some.  Flew the drone, but got all kinds of wind warnings.  It did let me shoot a panorama, but it has a small bad splice in it.
→ This is on the same street that I live on, 27 miles to the south.  The road is broken 1st (coming from my house) at Claremore Lake, then a 2nd time at Oologah Lake at Spencer Cove, then a 3rd time also at Oologah Lake, but this time north of Winganon, OK
