Mammoth Lakes to LA
292 miles (about 4 hours 38 minutes driving)
No pics this day... the night before, dad received a phone call letting him know that his house had been burgled.
We elected to just drive back to LA and cut our time in the Sierras 2 days short.
It turns out that only some inexpensive jewelry and some loose change were taken.

LA day
Some shopping to get food for the rest of our time together.
We also found a place to get some glass panes that needed to replaced in his back door from the burglary.
And at the glass place, the battery on the car died and we had to have AAA come and replace it!
It is, after all, Friday, the 13th!!!

Beach Days
What was supposed to be a one day trip to the beach ended up being an overnighter when our car developed some problems. Ended up getting a new alternator, but when they were finishing up, they broke a bolt that they had to order. Ended up taking my first ever Uber ride to a hotel and having to wear the same clothes the next day.
