Solo driving from Claremore, OK to Arleta, CA

I've never done a solo road trip before, especially one where I slept and ate out of my truck the entire way. 

Not all of my plans really worked out the way I expected.  From designated "camp" sites not being open, to planned stops totally missed (still can't figure that one out).

But I still had a great time, and actually got to go to some alternate locations I hadn't planned on,

and thoroughly enjoyed (like being able to shoot some pics of the Milky Way at Alamo Lake.
