Returning to Oklahoma

   Saturday

Started the day arriving at the NEW Burbank Airport Terminal

→ When I arrived here 2 weeks ago, it was at the old terminal.  I was comfortable with it.  Small, cozy, like a small town airport.  And one of the features I liked the most was the fact that we got on and/or off the plane at ground level.  Yes, that means going up or down a ramp or staircase, BUT, that also means that for someone like me who prefers to sit in the back of the plane, we can enter/exit the plane at the back, instead of waiting for 7,000 people in front of us to do so!

→ With the new terminal, I was supposing that this option would go away, being replaced by the normal ramps you see at most airports.  I was going to miss loading from the back - BUT WAIT!  In the new terminal they still load at ground level!!  And I still got to load from the back!

Part 1 • Taking off from Burbank, CA

Bright and sunshiny!  Last I would see of it today.

Part 2 • Landing in and taking off from Denver, CO

The approach to Denver was cloud covered the entire way.

Pretty much couldn't see the ground until we were coming into the runway.

• Pics 1 - 4 → On the ground in Denver, taxing for take-off

• Pics 5 - 15 → Above the clouds, near sunset, somewhere between Denver and Tulsa

Part 3 • Landing in Tulsa, OK

Not really much to see.  It was dark, and the plane was bouncing around so much I couldn't hold my phone steady.
