Road trip to Texas

   The bridges "Maggie"

Released from the hospital!

Bryan drove us to Dallas, which from Ft. Worth, and with all the traffic, was pretty daunting.

I wanted to stop and see if I was able to photograph a couple of bridges near downtown Dallas,

which I was, and then I elected to drive the rest of the way home.

I think I did pretty good for a guy that just spent 2-1/2 days in the hospital!

The bridges I wanted to see are the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and the Margaret McDermott Bridge.

Less than a mile apart, these two bridges are a couple of examples of beautiful architecture.

→ Flew my drone from the Trinity Skyline Trail, along the Trinity River, underneath the Commerce Bridge, to take photos of this area at the southwest corner of downtown Dallas, TX.

→ There are over a dozen different bridges in this area, but I elected to park at the Trinity Overlook Park by W Commerce St. because of it's ease of access to the trail, as well as it's almost central access to both the Margaret McDermott Bridge to the south, and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge to the north.
