Road Trip CA to OK to CA

   3rd stop • Silverwood Lake & Cedar Spring Dam   

► Couldn't get very close to the lake, but did the best I could.  Google maps shows the Pacific Crest Trail going across the top of the dam, but I couldn't find any signage that indicated this was true.
► From here we headed toward Indio, with the intent of driving through Joshua Tree National Park on the way.  The northwest portal was closed for construction.  We couldn't get to the northeast portal because of flooding on the road.  After we left Cajon Pass the sky kept getting more and more overcast the further east we got.  We got rained on several times.  We had to double-back to I-10 to get to Indio.​
