   1st stop today • South Jetty near Florence, OR   

► South Jetty near Florence, OR.  Stopped here to try to get to see at least some beach without fog.  There was some, but mostly I had to deal with wind.  

When I was walking through the sandy trails, the sand was quite warm - almost hot even.  

But when I got past the dunes and out on the open sand, it was cold - and wet!
