   Part 3 • Random Star Pics   

► I shot a lot of pics as tests, for exposure and angle and such.  A lot of them are good,

but not usable for star tracks which was my main goal for today.

I also had hoped to get some decent shots of the Milky Way,

but either I was not in a dark enough spot, or more likely the season for good sightings is already over.

The main part - the central core - of our galaxy isn't visible from October to March,

as during the fall and winter our planet is on the wrong side of our sun to clearly see the Milky Way.
