Capitol Reef National Park
5/22  •  Day 7  •  Cedar City, UT to Monticello, UT

1st leg of the 7th day of a 17 day road trip. 
• We stopped first at Capitol Reef National Park, with the express purpose of heading south

on the Scenic Road, only to get there and find out it is closed for 2024 for road repairs.  AARRGHHH!!!
• Did the best we could with the rest of the park.  Saw Goosenecks Overlook for the first time and it was scary.  I got right up to the edge (well almost - close enough to scare the poop out of me)

and took a group of photos looking down into the bottom of the canyon.
