Quanah Parker Lake
5/17  •  Day 2  •  Wichita Mountains NWR to Roswell, NM

1st leg of the 2nd day of a 17 day road trip at the Wichita Mountains.
• Sunrise at the dam at Quanah Parker Lake.  Rough night sleeping, but I'm OK this morning.  

Got up just before sunrise and it was great!  
• Then I ate breakfast and then started toward my next stop.  

Wouldn't you just know it... two buffalo decided to be "regulators" (as my dad would call anyone slowing down traffic on the freeway) who forced me to drive well under the speed limit!
