Today Dad had his second cataract surgery. Since I couldn't even go into the hospital with him, I took a drive into a couple of local canyons just because I could.
First I drove into Pico Canyon. Google maps made it look like I could drive for miles and eventually come out at a different highway. Alas, it was gated after only a short distance.
The second canyon I drove into was called Towsley Canyon. It was a very similar canyon.
