Taking off from Las Vegas, NV
► Almost didn't make my flight. We left Burbank later than I realized, and once we landed in
Las Vegas we had to wait for a while before we got to the gate.
► Then when I finally got off the plane, I had to trudge from B concourse all the way to the end of C concourse.
► Got there when I was supposed to, having taken only a short moment to take care of a biological need,
only to be told "your name is not on my list" after scanning the barcode didn't work.
► Sidestep to the customer service desk, and having to wait behind the guy on standby trying to figure out what was the best of the 14 options presented to him, before I could get a new boarding pass that worked.

► Or maybe it was Colorado, or Kansas, or Texas.
► Couldn't really see the ground, but looking out the window, and seeing the curvature of the earth,
made me wonder "just exactly how high are we" as I reached for my oxygen mask.
