3 stops in greater Los Angeles

   Hollywood Reservoir & Sign

► You've seen them in movies and tv shows.
► This iconic dam was built in 1924.
► The sign, originally as "Hollywoodland", was built in 1923,

with the "land" suffix removed in 1949.
► 2 videos in the mix...
→ one is of some traffic as viewed from the dam.
→ the other is of a turtle swimming in the lake.

   Griffith Park Observatory

► Viewed from a mountain road to the west of the site, this amazing facility was first opened in 1935.
► It is free of charge!
► I also took a few picks of the skyline of Los Angeles - it was fairly hazy this morning.
► As I was leaving that area, I found a coyote looking for his lunch.

Dodger Stadium & Downtown Los Angeles

► Pics shot from the Elysian Park area.  I had a ballpark (no pun intended) idea of where I needed to be, but had to do some exploring once I got there.  The most appropriate place it seemed, was actually being used as a filming site for a TV show, but I was allowed to walk through the set to get to the vista point.
