Windy morning at this beach near Santa Maria, CA.
There was a baby seal there all by itself. I hope mom is close by!
Just north of Vandenberg Space Force Base!

Jalama Beach
You'll notice the railroad tracks... I had hoped to get to shoot a video of an Amtrak train going by, and wouldn't you know it - one came by exactly when I was least prepared for one - and it was gone by the time I got my camera in my hands!

Gaviota State Park Beach
More railroad tracks - and a trestle bridge right over the state beach... as unfortunate as I was at Jalama Beach, I was equally so here. Walking on the beach, I heard a noise above me, and by the time I was able to turn and look, I watched the last car of the train disappear. I guess today was not going to be a train video day.

The bridges of Arroyo Hondo
Same train tracks, but no trains to miss this time.
Along side of the train trestle bridge is an old auto bridge for US-101
(and I'm assuming concurrent PCH-1).
