   Stopped at Dehy Park in Independence, CA

This unique park, which is manicured on the south side, with rest rooms and play equipment,

also has a wild creek that flows through it, and a trail to the west end, 

opens up to a wide expanse that runs all the way to the base of the Sierra Nevada.
