1st stop today • Goblin Valley State Park
1st viewpoint • Goblin Valley Road with a few of the Three Sisters
Part 1 of our first stop was along the road in the park where we first saw some of the geologic formations. Early morning light was great. Pics from both me and Geri.

3rd viewpoint • Steve takes a flight
Part 3 of our stop at this park started when we got to the part of the park where you could fly your drone if you had a permit. As the permits are only available at the visitor center, which wasn't open when we showed up, I assumed I wouldn't be flying. But Geri mentioned as she was preparing to hike, that since it was now past 8am that maybe I could get the permit now. So I went, and sure enough, I got the permit!!!
