► Dad and I were actually here a year ago, and took a jeep tour that ended in this area.
The ruins you see in the last few pics are where we ended our jeep tour
before heading back to where we started.

Sunset @ Citadel Pueblo, Wupatki National Monument
About an hour north of Flagstaff, AZ
► Dad wanted to stay in the hotel so I headed out solo to about an hour from Flagstaff.
Not exactly where I had intended to be, but determined later that I would not
have seen the sunset near as well from the 1st pick location.
► When I was done, I drove from the Wupatki National Monument through the
Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument (they are connected on the same road).
The 2nd pic below is a night shot of the mountains above Flagstaff from the Sunset Crater area.
