   2nd stop today • Monument Rocks in Kansas   

► Dad and I stopped at this geologic wonder in western Kansas, still on our way to Colorado.

I've been here before, but since dad majored in Geology in college, I thought he might like to see this.

This place is in the middle of private farm land in the middle of nowhere.

7 miles of dirt road to get here, and another 7 to get out.
