Road Trip CA to OK to CA

   2nd stop today • Kaw Point, KS   

► This is the site where the Kansas River flows into the Missouri River.  

Lewis & Clark spent time here on their journey to the west coast in 1804.
► We are standing in Kansas, looking across the river at Missouri.  

the river on the left and straight ahead is the Missouri, and the river on the right is the Kansas River.
► The last few pics are of a hawk enjoying his lunch - squirrel I think!  It let me get pretty close.
