February trip to California
2/26/2025 • Big Tujunga Canyon
Part 1
Blackbird Airpark
→ 1st stop was just outside the Edwards AFB entrance at a static display of aircraft -
NO PHOTOGRAPHY signs all over.
→ 2nd stop was the west side of Rosamond Dry Lake -
totally fenced off from all directions (I'm sure the military had something to do with this also,
as it is in the Edwards AFB landing zone). Again, no photos.
→ 3rd stop - Blackbird Airpark. Turns out it's only open on Friday-Saturday-Sunday
(today is Wednesday) so I had to take all my pics from outside the fence.
Not the best, but I did what I could.
→ Connected to the Blackbird Airpark is the Joe Davies Heritage Airpark, with some additional planes.
→ Each photo is named as to which type of aircraft the pic is of.

→ This is where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses over the Angeles Forest Highway.

Big Tujunga Reservoir
→ This lake is up in the mountains between Los Angeles, CA and Palmdale, CA.
