September California Trip
9/17  •   Alabama Hills

• 2nd stop today (of my last day in CA for this trip).  

Actually, this should be called the 2nd and 4th, as we stopped here on the way to Whitney Portal

(all the distance shots), as well as after Whitney Portal also (all the close-up stuff and the videos).
• The Alabama Hills are located just west of the city of Lone Pine, CA,

which is on US-395 in the Owens Valley.  

You drive through Lone Pine, and the Alabama Hills, to get to Whitney Portal.
