May Road Trip
5/26 & 5/27  •  Day 11 & 12 •  Arleta, CA to Claremore, OK

   Rushing home - Day 11 - Arleta, CA to Gallup, NM   

Right after we finished our return trip from Utah, I received a text from my wife about a tree that fell and knocked in a door on our house, I checked the Claremore, OK weather only to find they were in the middle of a tornado.  The tornado did significant damage to our community and left us personnally without electricity for 10 days.  So I cut my road trip short and drove home in two very long days.  I stopped several times to take some photos for for a meal just so I could keep going.  16 hours on the first day; 13 hours on the second.

• Ludlow, CA along historic Highway 66 east of Barstow, CA

• A section of railroad just east of Amboy, CA also on 66

• A gas station at Goffs, CA (also on 66) just to laugh at the gas prices

• The Colorado River crossing between Laughlin, NV and Bullhead City, AZ

• A couple of videos driving through Flagstaff, AZ

• Sunset just east of Flagstaff, AZ

• Stars near Joseph City, AZ just south of I-40
