This historic site, also on the San Juan river, also near Mexican Hat at the bottom of a steep cliff.

Fourth stop - Ship Rock Monolith and Dike
Volcanic promontory, sticking up from the desert floor, along with some volcanic ridges,
creating one of the most unique geologic formations in the USA.
