•  The day Bandit adopted us.  He showed up looking lost.  With two collars but no tags. 

•  We put signs up trying to find his rightful owners.  After about two weeks I got a phone call from a guy who described him right down to the color of his collar.  Said he thinks he belonged to a family that lived near him that moved, leaving Bandit behind. 

•  We had been calling him Jack, but the guy said they called him Bandit. 

•  I turned to the dog and called him by that name and he turned his head to look at me.  He’s been Bandit ever since.
